“ We had a date night last evening at DeBlaze at 131 and had a wonderful time. I made a reservation through OpenTable, which is always helpful and convenient. The restaurant was busy, but we didn’t wait long for our table. The restaurant is very fresh and clean and the bar area is really cool. We sat at a table right off the bar. The menu is quite extensive and has a lot of interesting choices. We ordered veal stuffed peppers for an appetizer and it was delicious. I have to say being Italian I’m a little picky, but I love their sauce. Their cocktail menu is fantastic with lots of seasonal offerings. I tried the raspberry cranberry spritz, which is good and an interesting spin on my go to Aperol Spritz. My husband ordered the veal piccata, and he said it was fantastic. I ordered the special which was the duck Ragu, it was very good, but it needed a little more something whether that be garlic or salt, but it would not dissuade me from getting it again. Oh and the house salad is fantastic, I would highly recommend it. The flavor is unbelievable with the smoked dressing that they use. We both had wonderful desserts which included a raspberry swirl cheesecake and I had Tiramisu which was delicious. I am a tough critic when it comes to Italian food and I thought this restaurant did a great job! The owner came to the table and asked how everything was which is always a bonus. I saw the reviews where people commented about cost. We would consider a medium priced restaurant, but definitely not outrageous. I think it’s very difficult to run a successful restaurant at a low price point these days. We would definitely go back and would recommend this restaurant. The location is great and there is ample parking, which is always difficult for most restaurants. The bar area is very cool and wouldn’t mind just going and sitting and having some drinks and appetizers at the bar. I usually take more pictures, sorry. I will take more on my next trip. ”
“ So glad we found this little gem!! Had the BEST dinner with the best server (Farrah). We sat on the upstairs patio. Can’t wait to come back. It was one of the best meals ever. Highly recommend!!! ”
“ We visited De Blaze at 131 for the first time and it was a fantastic experience. The service was excellent, while the ambience was warm and inviting. The balcony area overlooks Main Street in Carnegie, adding to its charm. Joyce was our server - she was very friendly and provided great recommendations. The portions are large, so come hungry! ”
“ Sunday brunch menu was yummy! On my first visit there, my friend and I split the omelet of the day and a Monte Cristo. Both were luscious and seasoned perfectly! Portions were generous. I know I will be returning with friends to try lunch or dinner. No need to dress up, parking convenient! ”
“ I had a fantastic experience at DeBlaze! We walked in without a reservation and were seated right away—huge plus when you’re traveling with family. The staff was incredibly accommodating, even with our 16-month-old in tow. They were also wonderful with my father-in-law, who has celiac disease, and made sure his meal was safe and gluten-free without any fuss. The service was genuinely top-notch, and the food exceeded all expectations. Everyone in our group loved their meals, but the standout was definitely the pierogies—absolutely delicious. I was beyond pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. Highly recommend if you’re in the area, and I truly hope I get the chance to return someday (I live out of state). A warm, welcoming spot with food and service to match! ”
“ Dinner was absolutely fabulous! The menu is diverse...something for everyone. We ordered, Veal Parm, Salmon, Major Teres (steak was so tender) and crab cakes. The house-made Lemon/Blueberry Cheesecake was sublime. Our server, Holly, was knowledgeable, efficient and had great recommendations. We will be back! ”

“ If you're looking for culinary excellence in Carnegie, look no further than DeBlaze at 131. This stylish restaurant and bar offers a handcrafted menu featuring fresh ingredients and innovative dishes that elevate the dining experience. They serve brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM, and dinner nightly. I recently went for a girls’ dinner, and we were blown away by the quality and flavor of everything we tried. We kicked things off with cocktails from their seasonal cocktail menu, which is creative and well-curated. They also offer beers on draft and a lovely wine selection. We were served fresh bread with an amazing herb dipping oil to start—such a nice touch! For appetizers, we ordered the bruschetta and risotto balls. The bruschetta was unique and refreshing, topped with lemon ricotta, fresh strawberries, aged balsamic, parmesan, and basil. The risotto balls were rich and comforting, topped with their homemade Sunday sauce and fresh asiago. The house spring greens salad was a highlight—mixed greens, strawberries, pecans, goat cheese, and a smoked honey vinaigrette that absolutely made the dish. For entrees, we each ordered something different and, of course, shared everything! Their "Italian done the DeBlaze way" menu lets you choose your protein (like chicken or veal), preparation style, and noodle type. We tried the Chicken Romano with bucatini and the Veal Marsala with bucatini—both were outstanding. You can really taste the fresh, homemade noodles, which makes all the difference. We also got the crab cakes, served with vegetables and sun-dried tomato risotto—another standout! To top it all off, their desserts are homemade, which is such a thoughtful and elegant touch. Everything from start to finish was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. DeBlaze at 131 is truly a gem. Whether you’re going out for brunch, lunch, or a special dinner, this spot delivers on every level. I will definitely be back! ”
